🕛 Ford Focus 1.6 Tdci Turns Over But Wont Start

Hi i hope someone can help, my dad has a 55 reg focus 1.6tdci and has just had a new battery fitted but now the lights on the dashboard dont come on and the engine wont turn over. It did start twice with new battery but stopped straight away, faut code reader with forscan software used and came up with a lot of codes main one is faut with 7 posts · Joined 2017. #1 · Sep 21, 2017. Hit up the usual suspects first, took a look at the starter and found the grounding strap between the solenoid and starter was almost gone. Must be that, I thought. Your car should have a factory fitted alarm. To test it try unlocking your car manually (key in door lock) and open the door but do not put the key in the ignition. The car should beep and then an alarm should activate if fitted. Turn ignition back on, do not start the engine. Fan will now turn off. If you now turn ignition off immediately, you will now see that the fan will come back on again. Before puting the ignition to on, press the left button from the IC, then put ignition to on and when you sea test you let go the button, and then with the same button, change menu until you see PATS and at the end, you whill see the Crank the engine, and check the tester. It should be over 100 psi. If it's lower, then you have a compression problem. If you have a busted timing belt, then you won't have compression on any cylinder.
